Care Quality Commission Reports

The Care Quality Commission Inspection is the government body responsible for the quality and performance of residential care homes and for inspecting all homes to ensure compliance with the Care Standards Act and other relevant legislation. The Care Quality Commission is concerned with the improvement of standards and the Care Quality Commission regularly inspects and reports on homes. Inspections are unannounced and the Care Quality Commission has the power to require changes in the operating regimes if a home falls below standard or has not yet achieved a required standard in accordance with the legislation.
